Before dinner, standing on the Trocadero looking across the Seine at the tower.
View from the tippy top of the tower at the Trocadero
(where we were just standing...directly in the middle of those two curved buildings).
If you look hard, you'll see hte Arch de Triumph (almost in the center, but slightly to the right)
Girls on the top floor
The small version of the Statue of Liberty is on the tip of that small island
(if you click on any photo it will be blown up)
The same view as before of the Trocadero but from the 2nd deck
You'll have to look even harder to find the Arch de Triumphe. It's almost dead center, but concealed a lot more because the view is from so much lower.
The elevators are a bit cramped
Our restaurant was on the 1st level
Our table
(the wine was removed prior to anyone having any!)
The other side of our table...we were right on the window
Our view was of the Trocadero
(1st floor view)
Hors D'ouvres: Smoked salmon, poppy seed pancakes, fennel salad, and a creme
Dinner: veal on a leek/potato compote with a foam of marscapone essence with truffle oil!
Dessert: pear tart with caramel and cream
Night view
It sparkles!!
